[Splashy-users] splashy appears in hibernation even though it has been purge removed

sudo apt-get remove libsplashy1

removing libsplashy would cause splashy to completely disappear as
this is used by uswsusp (one of the many suspend packages). also, you
might want to reconfigure your uswsusp:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure uswsusp

(or simply edit /etc/uswsusp.conf)
