dear members,
im having troubles with splashy at shutdown
two problems, the second is not really important..
1. at shutdown, when my startx script terminates (run from upstart's
event.d) the console switches to TTY2 and the system doesnt halt..
of course splashy is not present at tty2 this time
i have to change to TTY9, where splashy is and then it starts to
halt the system..
so, i need to change TTYs manually at shutdown to see splashy & let
the system halt.
its very very important, because i need to run it in an embedded
system on compact flash card, so it will never have a keyboard connected
to it.
2. the progress bar is not working at shutdown.. (its enabled at the
theme's config, from right to the left)
Im using ubuntu 8.10 minimal install based system, splashy is 0.3.10
(because it is the newest i found on website for i386 systems)
Please help me out of these troubles if you know what should cause the
problems!
Sincerely,
Szabolcs
