Thanks, I will do. It's frustrating to see packages in Ubuntu missing
from Debian - especially when they are not even in the Ubuntu core,
AND maintained by a Debian developer.

To answer some of my own questions, I read the Debian Python policy and
it looks like the Ubuntu package complies. However it is currently based
on an old upstream version. I think very little work is required to get
it ready for Debian. I have contacted the developer.
