I would like to become a user in the sense that I want to learn not
only how to use a debian fluxbox blend, but also how to contribute to
debian itself by filing bugs in a meaningful way.
Just tried the 'reportbug' program and filed bug against
epiphany-browser [1]. That bug report probably sucks, but I would like
to get better at doing it.
I am also very interested in exploring if the way we made DebianParl
would be worth while trying again? I'm just guessing here, but would
it be possible to strip the pre-seeding[2] file to an absolute minimum
and then add the fluxbox stuff from there? If so, we would have both a
starting point and a process, no?
I know from experience that I'm not smart enough to compile my own gento
o
kernel, but it would be great if I was smart enough to learn how to
install a fluxbox blend from scratch on my own.
And if that process "install a fluxbox blend" was a package, I could
perhaps even learn how to file bugs against it! :-)
Best regards.
