it's not broken, you have the one you forwarded your bug to, and the one
upstream has merged it into. the BTS does not interpret it in every
place correctly, that's not *my* fault. If you look at the bug report
page, when shows the commands I've sent to the BTS, you'll see the
URI's are good there.

I've prepared a patch for the BTS one week ago so that it can hilight
those correctly on the summary pages and various other places as well.
please ask the bugs.d.o crew to apply the patch, and those URI's will
be magically usable, and usefull. I'll try to contact aj or Kamion to
see what they can do about it, if this cannot be pushed a little. If
the BTS hilights those URI's correctly, would you be OK with it ?

but please, don't shoot the messenger, a *lot* of people have asked for
bts-link to behave that way, and it *IS* reasonnable.

the goal here is that I never loose the first forward ever, but that if
the submitter wants to know what upstream did with his but, it's only
one click away. sadly, for reasons already in that mail, the 'one click
away' thing is broken because of the BTS, not me.

you don't get it, reread what I wrote:
(1) yes bts-link messages should have a reply-to on bts-link-*DEVEL*@
(not -upstream that is restricted to bts-link / the BTS)
(2) you have at the begining of the mail a link to the d-d-a@ archives,
where you can see who is responsible for it, so it's not very
    hidden.

the Reply-To Field will be added soon, I've put it in the TODO list.
