I see a lot of ??? on this page:

	http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEeePC/Models

So I thought i'd fill in some blanks.
Darren Salt <linux at youmustbejoking.demon.co.uk>, aka dsalt I presume,
edited that page (last edited 2010-02-13 19:23:26 by dsalt) last. So here
it is:

	Networking Input Graphics
Ethernet	WLAN	Bt	3G	Silver hotkeys	Touchpad
1101HA	AR8132/L1c	AR9285	yes	???	[1?] Synaptics
GMA500

[1?] - touchpad on/off; same as Fn-F3

Kernel is:

	Linux 2.6.32-trunk-686 #1 SMP Sun Jan 10 06:32:16 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux

with debian unstable.

Got a lot of things going. Currently running X with the vesa-driver (with
the 915resolution grub hack I found on this page:

	http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEeePC/Model/1101HA

I also tried the uvesafb thing (with variations), found on the same page,
but no dice :( Errors:

dmesg:[ 0.000000] Kernel command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-trunk-686 root=UUID=3a698373-fa59-4797-8f33-64bd23cdee17 ro video=uvesafb acpi_osi=Linux nosplash

Couldn't get USB-speakers going either without installing these pulse
packages:

	gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio
	libcanberra-pulse
	libpulse0
	libpulse-browse0
	libpulse-mainloop-glib0
	pulseaudio-esound-compat
	pulseaudio
	pulseaudio-module-bluetooth
	pulseaudio-module-gconf
	pulseaudio-module-x11
	pulseaudio-module-zeroconf
	pulseaudio-utils

	pavumeter
	pavucontrol
	paman
	paprefs

Maybe not all of them are needed, but convenient.

Never got the $7 refund from Asus for the useless and overpriced m$ xp,
installed but never used.

Bad, bad, bad of you Asus and Intel for not providing free gma500 drivers!

If there's intrest for more debian 1101ha info, don't hesitate to ask.
I'd be glad to share that, if there's interest.

Cheers,
