I was opposed to it from the start though, you remember that, right ?

sure, those machines are hardly usable for debian proper anyway, since they
are not maintained by the debian-admin team, this mean they cannot host proper
autobuilders, so they are used for various experimentations, and your work
fits in well with this.

I want official ppc64 support in etch, either biarch or multiarch, depending
on which one will be declared an etch release goal, but if the rm team can
offer nothing more than a tentative 'non-blocking' release goal for
multi-arch, we have no solution than to go with biarch.

you can always have your play-thing on the side, it is nice for experimenting
and everything, but it was never really integrated in debian, and following
your own words, probably never will.
