Well, then I have no explanation for the behavior you're seeing;
nevertheless, the problem is specific to your system, the RC bug (the wrong
package dependency) has been fixed.

I would be happy to try to help figure out what's causing this problem,
since it's at least somewhat possible that there's still a bug in the
package, but this shouldn't obscure the fact that the bug for this report
has been fixed.
