I had a similar experience, i tried to send a Patch to the addresses
listed in the POD and also never got any response. But they still
seem to be working on it, the last Update (to Version 0.44) is dated
'11 Sep 2005'.

Allright, i already feared it would be that way. Is there any chance
to get it mentioned in the documentation? I could contribute a short
howto and describe how to use dh-make-perl to make your own .deb from
the CPAN distribution.

Thanks for the link, i already downloaded the Source and made it work
work on my Apple Laptop under Mac OS X. Can you point me to an
address where we can discuss IBPerl further (i don't want to become
off-topic here by going to deep into IBPerl)?.
I definitely will try it with my application (which runs under
debian). Although i must say that DBD::InterBase is very stable too.
And i do like the DBI API.

As my time (and skills) permits. I'm neither a C-Guru nor a full-time
developer. I'm just another ordinary sysadmin / networking guy who
happend to learn bits of UNIX over the years. ;-)

What needs to be done?

Kai
