Which documentation you suggest mentions this? README.DBD::Interbase
in /usr/share/doc/firebird/ ?
It would be great if you can prepare it.

That's the problem with IBPerl - it uses specific API that is too
different from DBI.

Too much, probably. I still can't find the time and the energy to
write a full-blown DBD driver out of IBPerl. I don't know much of DBD
internals too. Maybe some other life :)
