Well, honestly, if not depends then I would at least make it recommends

I think that having both share and lib is too much flexibility. While
arch-dependent stuff has to go in lib, nothing prevents an
arch-independent thing to go in lib.

I would just use lib because that's where "support" thing should be for
a package. More simple.
