A couple questions about current status

I've been hacking on Debian on the Nokia N800 in the last couple days.
I have a wiki up [1] but I haven't updated since I've looked at your
tablet-utils package. I'll be rolling a new filesystem tarball with
tablet-utils installed later today. For now I just had a couple
questions:
1) I'm not completely familiar with the process by which new packages
are added to unstable, so forgive me if this is a stupid/obvious
question: What does the timeframe look like for osso-gwconnect and
hildon-desktop to appear in sid?
2) If that will be more than a couple days, is there way to get the
.dsc and .diff.gz files so I can build them for myself?
3) In general, has much changed in terms of what works in Debian on
the N800/N810 since the last time tablet-utils was updated?

It's great to see other people working on this. Thanks for all the
work of getting the hildon stuff packaged up!
