Package: vim
Version: 1:6.2-149+1
Severity: normal

There are the following Problem:

package bla::foo;

do not indent after the {. When I "forgot" the ; after the package it
works. Also the following works correct:

package bla::foo;
while() {

(And please now argumentation about the indenting style.)

so that means that it's not a vim bug, but definetely a config bug.

I suggest you to search if :
 * you have touched the vanilla /etc/vim/vimrc
 * you have put some things in ~/.vim/after/{syntax,ftplugin}/perl.vim
 * you have some au FileType perl .... in your ~/.vimrc

but vanilla config works, and we cannot be held responsible for a bad=20
user config that mess up with the default syntax/plugins files.

I also closes the bug.

btw, you may track for help on the vim-users lists (see on vim.org for=20
more informations)
