i agree about all but ''Possible bugs''.

anything that is only ''possible'' i think it is commendable to check 
with the faq and the mail list, before entering it into the appropriate 
tracker.

i also think that it is beneficent to discuss the idea of, say, a 
feature-request on the mail list, before sending it in to the site.
i have seen no arguments as to why it would be better to send ideas
directly to the tracker, bypassing the discussion.

please somebody, put such arguments forward. otherwise i will continue
to advocate the use of this mail list as a place for discussing ideas
before submitting them to the tracker.
