It is implemented. Pressing F2 should display a box in which you can see the
text from the console. This depends on if the theme you are using have this
option enabled (see <textbox> in theme.xml). If you want to stop splashy and
so go back in the console you should press ESC.

Right now, no.

It's a good idea. It could be in the config file, will see to
