I did not see the "opposite" meaning either (but I am not native
English speaker) but clearly the "reverse" one which I found very
funny and was great incitement to join utnubu lists.

Great.  Its pronunciation will not be mixed with real Ubuntu.

Would be great (where is the offence to Debian?).

From the very beginning, Joachim Breitner stated (in his blog) it was
in no way hostile to Ubuntu, which I liked too and was my other
incitement to join the lists (I had no taste in joining any
anti-Ubuntu morons mailing list).  Utnubu is fun as is free software.
I am not sure I have yet enough technical skills to support the Utnubu
effort and needs, but I will try to get them from Utnubu lists.

And, yes, if you want to know why I have interest in Debian, it is
for being "The Universal Operating System".  "Naibed" might be nice
name for the Vancouver proposal.
